Devi Sri Prasad, who shares a close bond with Sukumar, has given some of the biggest hit songs for Sukumar’s movies. However, for “Pushpa 2“, Sukumar chose Thaman, and Sam CS for the background score.
Some say this decision was because Sukumar and Allu Arjun weren’t fully satisfied with DSP’s work, while others believe Sukumar was simply dividing tasks due to time pressure.
During the Chennai event of “Pushpa 2”, DSP made strong comments that stirred controversy. He said he received several complaints from the producers of the movie.
He also mentioned that he had been waiting outside the event venue, but since his song was played without him being informed, he rushed inside.
DSP did not criticize Sukumar or Allu Arjun directly but questioned the producers, which sparked fresh controversy. His frustration was evident in his speech, and many felt this situation could have been avoided if everyone had discussed things calmly.
“Pushpa 2” is set to release on December 5th in multiple languages, with Mythri Movie Makers producing the film.
